Student Accommodation
We haven't reserved any student accommodation, but there should be rooms
available at Dale Hall, Carnetic Halls of Residence. Single rooms, without
en-suite, B&B costs £20.85 plus VAT for visiting students.
Room with en-suite bathroom (but no shower) would cost £40.43 plus VAT.
The Carnetic Halls of Residence are quite far from the University precinct
and one needs to take a bus to get to and from University precinct.
There is a University Bus Service (699) that travels from Carnatic to the University
Precinct via Greenbank Halls. Buses leave every 5-20 minutes, depending on the time
of day. They take about 25 minutes, depending on the time of day and the traffic.
The bus costs £1.30 for a single journey.
Further details can be found at the
Arriva website (search for service 699).
